When the motocross season ended and the temperatures start dipping the quest for another sport continued. One new member who happened to be a pro paintball player with vast experience in that field having been to the paintball World Cup in Orlando.Carmelo Interone introduced us to the sports of Paintball,me along with Wayne and Cary played a whole day in the frigid temperatures of Operation Paintball in Marengo. But it was well worth it Because CDR Swat was born.

 Badlandz
I remember the day when we first tried our hands on a paintball gun.We were very excited to just fire them,we were trigger- happy was the best way to describe us. When time came to test these guns in a paintball field ,we always got beat and we were very disappointed. One victory was hard to come by until one day we discovered badlandz.
CDR commando has been frequenting the said paintball field and slowly the boys mastered the art of taking over the opponents.Lately,it was a thing of beauty to witness countless victories.Jomar and Toto especially have shown great skills on  tactical assault and take over.
We look forward to more battles and hopefully winning them.Photos

Scenario game

is a game with a storyline or theme behind it. It is best described as a living storybook that begins with prologue created by the Producer/Director (available prior to the day of the event). At the actual event, players are divided into two teams or “armies”, led by a General. All players are assigned roles or characters and work together to accomplish missions, introduce, distribute, collect and work with props, and answer storyline questions to earn points for their army. At the end of the game, points are tallied and the victorious army is revealed (according to the number of points collected). Therefore, the scenario’s outcome is determined by the level of participation of the players.

PAINTBALL TIPS
1) Communication - communication is the key to all team sports. Use your teammates to find out exactly what your opposition is doing and where they are located on the field and vice versa. This insures that everyone on your team is on the same page.

2) Make use of potential cover - You can use anything from trees, small hills, thick brush, to even tall grass.

3) Wait for the right shot - Don't give away your position by firing aimlessly in your opponent's direction. When you find a target take your time and wait for the good shot.

4) Listen for your opponent's fire - While you're playing your ears can be your best friend. Listen for your opponents to be talking amongst each other or shooting the other way, this is the perfect time to make your move.

5) Try snapshooting - the term snap shooting refers to exposing yourself from behind cover for only a brief period of time while you take a couple of shots before returning to cover.

6) Look at the field from different perspectives - what looks open while your standing may be completely different if you are kneeling or crawling on the ground. There are different lays of the land and growth on the forest floor that can completely conceal you.

7) Come out from behind cover with your gun ready - The main reason that you should come out with your gun ready is so that you don't miss any shots by the time it takes you to raise your gun, aim and pull the trigger.

8) Work with your teammates - It is so much easier to move up the field if you are working with your teammates. You can give them cover fire for them to move and they can do the same for you.

9) Move around the field - It is much harder for your opponents to focus in on you if you are constantly changing positions. This also creates new angles on them while they are convinced that there are ten of you.

10) Don't keep coming out of your bunker in the same spot - Your opponents will realize that you are coming out in the same area and will be waiting for you with their gun up the next time you come out.
